Known for her gentle, patient approach, she creates calm, stress-free grooming experiences—especially for nervous pups. Her focus is always on comfort, kindness, and helping every pet feel safe and beautifully cared for.

Azzurra is amazing! I can't recommend her enough—she does a fantastic job with my dog Amber's grooming. Amber is a large Lab/Golden mix who sheds a lot, is usually terrified of getting her nails done, but with Azzurra, she feels safe and comfortable. She is incredible at deshedding her, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Frequently Asked Questions
At Grooms by Azzurra, dogs who are friendly and comfortable with others are welcome to roam in our enclosed play area, socialize, and enjoy toys while they wait. Although crates are available in the salon, we only use them when absolutely necessary—such as for pets who may potty indoors or show signs of stress or aggression. This helps keep all pets safe and maintains a clean environment.
If you prefer your dog not be crated under these specific circumstances, we offer an Express Service for an additional fee. With this option, your dog is groomed from start to finish with no breaks, and you'll be called just before their appointment is done so you can pick them up right on time.
Groom times are based on the size of the dog, their temperament and their specific coat needs. Upon drop off, we would be happy to give you a rough estimate of how long the service will take. Here at Grooms by Azzurra, we pride ourselves on making sure each pet leaves happy and feeling better than before! We all work 1-to-1, so your pet has our full attention when they are in our care.
Yes! Here at Grooms by Azzurra, we groom all dogs and cats. We are also able to provide mini services for other small animals like Rabbits!
We work with pets who are seniors, anxious pets or who have challenging temperaments. The whole Grooms by Azzurra team works to create a safe and positive experience for all pets.
We always say: the sooner, the better! We recommend bringing your puppy in after their second round of vaccines(typically around 3 months old). Their first visit isn’t a full groom but a gentle bath and tidy, which is the perfect way to introduce them to the grooming process in a positive, stress-free way.
During a first-time puppy bath, we include a bath, blow dry, brushing, nail trim, paw pad and sanitary shave, trimming around the eyes (if needed), and ear cleaning. We’ll also show you helpful techniques to get your puppy comfortable with grooming at home.
And for fun, your puppy goes home with an adorable report card filled with bonding activities and tips to help them continue building confidence for future grooms.
We’re happy to accommodate pets with sensitivities. We offer hypoallergenic shampoo and can adjust the grooming process as needed. We won’t use any finishing spray or cologne on sensitive pups, and if you prefer, you’re welcome to bring your own shampoo and conditioner for us to use during the appointment.
To keep the salon calm and low-stress, please arrive at your scheduled drop-off and pick-up times.
We’ll notify you when your pet is almost finished so you can return promptly.Please note that late pick-ups may incur additional charges, as we don’t have space or staff to keep pets for extended periods.
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not show up to your appointment, the full grooming service fee will be charged. We understand emergencies happen and do our best to accommodate when we can.
There is a 15-minute grace period. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, additional charges may apply, and the full service booked may not be completed.
We love sharing adorable moments with your pets! We may occasionally take photos or videos for social media or promotional use.
If you prefer no photos of your pet, please let us know ahead of time, and we’ll happily respect your wishes.Proof of vaccination is required. Exceptions may be made for senior pets or dogs with certain medical conditions.
If your pet is showing any signs of illness—such as lethargy, coughing, sneezing, vomiting, or diarrhea—please reschedule your appointment to help protect other pets, staff, and the salon environment.
Yes. For everyone’s safety, all pets entering the salon must arrive on a leash or in a carrier, even if they are being carried inside.
